Released Oct. 2019, Dragonfly Pond’s debut EP is an exploration of the passage of time through music. The songs were written on guitar using a heavy dose of digital effects such as reverb, delay, and compression, with loops that vary through passes symbolizing changes over time or “Annica”. All synthesizer sounds were designed by manipulating WAV file samples which were recorded “in house”. Similar artists include Mogwai, Fly Pan Am, and Jet Black Crayon.
